Just cause xccris puts his progress…

I have decided to put up my stats and improvement for track ‘12.

This is actually my first collegiate running season that I am taking serious. I am running when I am supposed to, listening to my body, eating properly and, most importantly, excited to go to practice.

We are about 2 weeks in to pre- season. I did not train much in the off season, except for a half marathon that I competed in. However, since the launch of the first actual track practice I’ve been on a roll since then. The first week was a bit rough. I had to work a little harder to keep up because of my excess body weight. Im at about 155 pounds. We are entering the third week of our training and have now incorporated a bit of speed. I’ve been in the front of the group consecutive times. Our team is looking pretty solid and as much as I’d rant on and on about each and every workout Ill just stop by saying i did 17 miles today and an average of 6:48. wassssssssssuppppp! here are the splits ;)

1 mile - 7:19

2 mile - 7:10

3 mile - 7:05

4 mile - 7:04

5 mile - 7:06

6 mile - 6:59

7 mile - 6:54

8 mile - 6:45

9 mile - 6:43
